Powersports Financing

Powersports covers everything you steer with handlebars or a sport-side steering wheel — ATVs, side-by-sides (UTVs), street motorcycles, dirt bikes, and personal watercraft (PWCs / jet skis). Canadian lenders treat these units as a single collateral class with terms capped at 120 months, whether new or used. We shop your file across prime and specialty lenders to land the lowest available rate on whichever unit you're eyeing.

How Powersports Financing Works

Common Financing Questions

Why do powersports loans cap at 120 months?

Canadian lenders treat ATVs, side-by-sides, motorcycles, and dirt bikes as a single collateral class with an amortization ceiling of 120 months. It reflects the depreciation curve of these units — extending further would leave most borrowers upside-down.

Can I finance a used ATV, SxS, or motorcycle?

Yes. Used units up to roughly 10 model years old qualify with our specialty lenders. Rates run slightly higher than new and the term may be shortened for older units, but the process is otherwise identical.

Do I need insurance before applying?

You need proof of insurance at delivery, not at application. Every lender requires collision and comprehensive coverage while the loan is active — we can refer you to powersports insurance brokers.

Can I roll accessories, wraps, or a trailer into the loan?

Yes — anything on the bill of sale at delivery (dealer-installed accessories, extended warranty, a matching trailer) can be capitalized and amortized on the same 120-month term.

What's the minimum credit score?

Specialty lenders will consider files down to a 500 beacon. Below prime, expect a higher APR and typically 10–15% down or an equivalent trade.

Does the 120-month cap apply to snowmobiles too?

Snowmobiles follow the same 120-month powersports ceiling. Sleds are their own product category on our lot — the finance mechanics are identical to ATVs and SxS.
